NSW Law Reform Commission consultation on Anti-Discrimination Act – closing date 2 October
The NSW Law Reform Commission has released a second consultation paper as part of their review of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW) (ADA).
This paper focuses on the procedures for enforcing the ADA and other ways of promoting compliance with the law. It covers a range of topics including complaints processes, remedies and other options for addressing unlawful conduct.
They have also released:
- a community summary of the consultation paper
- a community survey
- an Easy Read consultation paper, which covers issues raised throughout their review (including complaints processes).
